Following the expansion of the Africa exhibit, the zoo has added nine new species. Among the animals you'll see during your visit are the Masai giraffe, the Siberian tiger, the pancake tortoise, eastern bongo, and plains zebra. Among the recent arrivals at the soo is the birth of a male kudu. The antelope calf has access to indoor and outdoor enclosures in the Hoofstock area of the Austin Zoo.

Especially for kids: Playground. Stroller rentals available.
