Marvel at the magnificent birds of prey from the Carolina Raptor Center including a red-tailed hawk, American kestrel, barred owl, screech owl, and a great horned owl. See creatures from coastal freshwater, as well as the wetlands. Animals found in North Carolina rivers, marshes, and sounds are featured, including frogs, turtles, and otters. The Saltwater Gallery features bluefish pinfish and eel. Walk through a sky-lit atrium via a wooden path through towering trees, creeks, and streams.
