You can see what Blackbeard's flagship, the Queen Anne's Revenge, looks like on the ocean floor and check out the sunken German sub U-352 - all in the "Living Shipwreck" exhibit, which features a viewing window more than 60 feet long! Old exhibits like moray eels, octopus, seahorses, and horseshoe crabs are now joined by a new stingray touch tank, river otter exhibit, jellyfish gallery, and sport fishing exhibit.

From North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores - Atlantic Beach, NC:

During the two-year construction period, the Aquarium was closed to the public. But the payoff was great—the newly remodeled Aquariums three times larger and features exciting new exhibits of jellyfish, river otters and a 306,000-gallon ocean tank. The expanded Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores is three times larger than before, and features exhibits and animals from across North Carolina. Mountain waterfalls, Piedmont rivers, coastal swamps, and offshore shipwrecks are some of the new habitats. Three new classrooms and a new 150-seat auditorium accommodate an expanded range of education programs and activities.
