Cripple Creek, Colorado
Was the world's greatest gold camp from 1891 to 1916. Now, the site of about 15 small casinos, the largest of which is the Double Eagle Hotel and Casino. The Triple Crown Crown of Cripple Creek includes J.P. McGills Hotel and Casino, the Brass Ass Casino (located inside one of the town's original buildings) and the Midnight Rose Hotel and Casino.
Gambling is limited stakes, as in the rest of Colorado, featuring Poker, Slots, Blackjack and Video Gaming.
There is something for everyone, especially in the summer - tours, historic railroad, shopping district, a mine tour and live theater. Historic and modern lodging available. Limited lodging and entertainment. Open daily until 2 am.
