Our Botanical Gardens Expert Says:

This nine-acre small wonder is concentrated into three greenhouses, and the surrounding outside gardens. There are tropical, vegetable, rose, wildflower, and cactus gardens, among others. The history of the area is presented in a botanic manner in three plaza's - the 1700's, the 1800's and the 1900's. The plaza's combine art and flora to show what life was like in that period in Cheyenne. An antique locomotive (Wyoming's oldest) and a 1928 tractor are thrown in for good measure. The Cheyenne Botanic Gardens is located in Lions Park, off Central Avenue.
