Experience the whitewater of the Colorado River's Glenwood and Shoshone section. Shoot the 10 miles of Class I-II+ (Glenwood Canyon); Class III-IV+ (Shoshone Run) rapids, the most frequently rafted section of the Colorado. This section is located in north-central Colorado, north of Carbodale, on I-70.

Practical Info: Rafting season is open approximately from June to September, with whitewater rafting trips ranging in length from a half day to a full day. The river is suitable for paddle rafts, and oar rafts.

Useful Tips: Guides are optional. Outfitters on the Colorado River's Glenwood and Shoshone section offer trips suitable for families (glenwood canyon section).
