Experience the whitewater of the Blue River. Shoot the 8 miles of Class II-III rapids, a great introduction to the thrills of river rafting. This section is located in north-central Colorado, north of Breckenridge, 2 miles north of I-70.
Practical Info: Rafting season is open approximately from May to July, with whitewater rafting trips that can be completed in a half day. The river is suitable for paddle rafts, and oar rafts.
Useful Tips: Guides are optional, although permits may be required for private trips. Outfitters on the Blue River offer trips suitable for families.
