As an actual town and not just a resort, Aspen has every imaginable service available, great night life, a variety of entertainment options and excellent dinning. It's not just the after-ski atmosphere that is unparalleled though, nearby Aspen Highlands, Aspen Mountain, Snowmass, and Buttermilk resorts, all within 12 miles of each other, offer up world-class skiing on diverse terrain with excellent conditions, attracting ski buffs from all over the world.

For its size, Aspen Highlands resort has the most diverse terrain, from beginners to experts. It's also expanding in size rapidly, having added 180 new acres of advanced, expert and extreme terrain in the 05/06 season. It also has one of the highest vertical rises in all of Colorado, sure to be a thrill. For snowboarders, Highlands offers up excellent blacks and double blacks and a thrilling decent from the 12,500-foot Highland Bowl.
