Ever wonder how the direct descendents of the dinosaurs - amphibians, snakes, lizards, and tortoises - managed to stay alive for millions of years? The Staying Alive exhibit on this 430-acre site, which houses a zoo, a museum of natural history, and a planetarium, answers these questions in ways that kids and adults can understand and enjoy. Other exhibits found in the zoo are Plains of Africa, Madagascar, North America, Tropical America, Marco Polo Trail, and Australasia. In short, the zoo provides a trip around the animal world for all who choose to come in.
