Mansfield, Massachusetts's Comcast Center is a huge outdoor amphitheater located just one half hour outside Boston. If you've visited the Comcast Center in its earlier years, you'd probably know it as the Great Woods Center for the Performing Arts or as the Tweeter Center for the Performing Arts. Many people still refer to this giant music hall as "Great Woods."

The Comcast Center was built in 1986 and has since seen thousands and thousands of world-class performers and large-scale productions. Seating 19,900 people, in both covered seats and open-air lawn chairs, the Comcast Center is one of the largest and most popular venues in all of Massachusetts.

Some of the big names which have graced the stage at the Comcast Center include Elton John, Alanis Morisette, Modest Mouse, Metallica, Matisyahu, Marilyn Manson, Eminem, Eric Clapton, Fergie, Fleetwood Mac, Foo Fighters, Neil Young, New Kids On The Block, Barenaked Ladies, Beck -- and the list goes on and on and on! If there's a big name in the music and entertainment industry, then it's probably made its way to the stage at Comcast Center.

Current and upcoming shows at this amphitheater include Beyonce, Nickelback, Kid Rock & Lynyrd Skynyrd, Coldplay, Incubus, Blink-182, Creed, and The Allman Brothers, among many other popular bands you'll love.

The Comcast Center is located at 885 S. Main Street in Mansfield, Massachusetts. Showtimes are usually around 6:00pm, 7:30pm, or 8:00pm.
