Our Nature Nut Says:

The Cape Cod National Seashore is a striking landscape consisting of 43,500 acres of marshes, lighthouses, wooded trails, swamps, and sandy, coastal bliss, as well as a great diversity of plant and animal species. The seashore offers six swimming beaches, 11 self-guided nature trails, a variety of picnic areas, and serene scenic overlooks. Marconi Station, site of the first two-way transatlantic radio transmission, is located on Cape Cod as well.
Biking, swimming, fishing, and boating are must-do activities, particularly in the warmer months. Trails ranging from very easy to very challenging offer a closer glimpse into the local plant and animal life. Ranger-guided canoe tours, surfcasting, and shell fishing demonstrations are provided seasonally for a fee.
