Even if it had never belonged to or had been lived in by the legendary Paul Revere, this house is definitely worth a visit simply for its artful reconstruction of colonial era homes, and a revealing peek into how the people of that time lived. That it belonged to Paul Revere only enhances the historical significance of this L-shaped townhouse in Boston's North End.
Built in 1680, this landmark passed into the Revere Family hands in 1770, and they lived there until 1800. In 1908 the house opened its doors as one of the first historic house museums in the United States. Once inside, you can explore the three story house, and see some silver that his family crafted, as well as some antique furniture believed to have once belonged to Paul Revere himself!
The Paul Revere House is located in Boston's North End at 19 North Square. Enjoy this architectural and historic adventure!
