The Dreams of Freedom Immigration Museum occupies two floors of the historic Newspaper Row buildings in downtown Boston. The museum features interactive exhibits, talking walls, moving gang planks, personal artifacts, and a multimedia movie that chronicles Boston's 400 years of immigration history. Visitors can travel through time and explore 350 years of Boston history and of the Massachusetts capital's role as a gateway to America. Visitors of all ages will enjoy climbing aboard a ship, into the home of the first Kennedys, and the courtroom where Sacco and Venzetti were tried. Kids will love the trials of gaining status and citizenship that are related in rap songs and games. Dreams of Freedom is located at One Milk Street in Downtown Crossing, across the street from the historic Old South Meeting House. Come celebrate America's immigration history at this educational, multimedia immigration museum.
