This famous Boston institution has been educating and thrilling youngsters for almost 100 years. The museum is located in South Boston on the Fort Point Channel and contains many exhibits specifically designed to engage the minds of children. There is a gigantic three-dimensional climbing maze, a Japanese house transported directly from Kyoto, a place for kids to learn how to use tools, a weaving exhibit and much more. Food and ice cream are both available at the museum and from the upper deck of museum you can look out at the Boston Harbor and the Fort Point Channel.
