At Battleship Cove you won't just learn about history, you'll relive it! Naval history buffs will have a whale of a time as they experience firsthand what it was like to serve on board a World War II Navy warship or submarine.

The Cold War's USS Joseph P. Kennedy Jr. with its unmanned helicopter that was used to hunt Soviet submarines, is at your disposal, as well as the high-speed missile corvette, used by the Soviets to fight off the Americans. Climb the Battleship Massachusetts or dive deep in Submarine Lionfish.

Enjoy Japanese motorboats, Cobra Attack Helicopters, the USS Fall River, a t-28 trainer plane, and much more. Whether you're an enthusiast of military hardware or war history, you will find much to discover at Battleship Cove with its fun, hands-on displays.

The store at Battleship Cove sells naval and airplane models, clothes, books, flags, animal toys, caps, patches and other souvenirs. Be sure to stop into the Officers' Wardroom on the USS Massachusetts for a delicious New England style fish & chips, or help yourself to a milkshake. The Wardroom Grill serves up fast foods such as burgers, chicken and fries.

To get to Battleship Cove from the north, take I-93 south to 128 South. Take Route 24 South to Fall River, MA and exit 7 onto State Route 79. The 2nd exit is Davos Street where you'll follow the signs into Waterfront/Heritage State Park/Battleship Cove.
