Our Nature Nut Says:

Located in Daniel Boone National Forest, Cumberland Falls State Resort Park is home to a 125-foot waterfall known as the Niagara of the South. The mist of the Falls creates an effect called a Moonbow, seen only on a clear night during a full moon. In addition to the majestic Falls, Cumberland boasts 17 miles of trails including Moonbow, Cumberland River, and Laurel Trails, where visitors are welcome to hike. Park-goers can also fish for bass, catfish, and roughfish, as well as raft and swim in the Park's pool. Those who want to spend the night can choose from 50 campsites with electricity and water hookups, or for a cozier stay, book a cottage or spend a night in the Dupont Lodge.

From Cumberland Falls State Resort Park - Kentucky:

Chilkat State Park is seven miles south of Haines on Mud Bay Road. This park offers a log cabin visitor center, 32-site campground, picnic area, boat launch and trails. The campground sits in a mixed forest of evergreens and deciduous trees at the edge of Chilkat Inlet. The boat launch provides access to the inlet and the run of king salmon in early June. The visitor center offers incredible views of Chilkat Inlet and Rainbow and Davidson glaciers. The center also has wildlife spotting scopes so you can spot the inlet wildlife, such as seals, porpoises, and whales. Visitors have even been able to spy on bears and mountain goats on the other side of the inlet.
