The course is wide open and friendly to all levels, just watch out for the wind on this Scottish links-style layout. The course has been the site of many tournaments, including the Senior PGA Tour, Celebrity Players Tour, PGA Junior Series, the 1998 Men's United States Amateur Public Links Championships, and more. It will also host the 2007 Women's Amateur Public Links Championship.

They now have added a Lexington landmark to their list of creative masterpieces.
