Things to do / Travel Guide
The Bengals and Titans vie for the top spot on the NFL gridiron in this region. Cincinnati's Bengals toss the pigskin at Paul Brown Stadium while the Tennessee Titans call Nashville's LP Field home. This stadium also hosts the annual college football Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl each December. Fans of Major League Baseball's Reds head to the Great American Ball Park for home games, and hockey fans have a team to root for in Nashville in the form of the NHL's Predators, who's Zamboni is parked at the Gaylord Entertainment Center.
Besides football and baseball, this region is famous for its thoroughbreds. Horseracing can be found all over the region, particularly at the famous Churchill Downs. The Kentucky Derby, one of the crown jewels in horseracing's Triple Crown series, is held every year at this famous racetrack in Louisville. Tens of thousands of equine lovers fill the grandstands each year to cheer on the striding stallions.
