Things to do / Travel Guide
The Central Kentucky and Tennessee region is shaped roughly like a diamond, spanning most of the central and eastern portions of Kentucky and Tennessee. The northern point of the diamond is close to where Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky meet, while the southern point is close to where Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee meet.
Located close to the northernmost extremities of the region are Louisville and Frankfort, Kentucky, and situated at the southern tip are Chattanooga, Tennessee and Lookout Mountain. Towns on the western edge of the region are Elizabethtown and Bowling Green, in Kentucky and Nashville, Franklin, and Tullahoma in Tennessee. The eastern edge of the region runs through Lexington, Richmond, and Corbin, Kentucky and continues on along the Cumberland Plateau in Tennessee down to Chattanooga.
