Among the birds you'll learn about are the turkey vulture, the aplomado falcon, and the harpy eagle. Discover how birds fly, touch eggs of many shapes and sizes, peek inside an owl's nest, and spot raptors in their native habitats from forest to canyon. Follow incredible journeys of migrating birds and compare the awesome adaptations of birds of prey.

The Velma Morrison Interpretive Center is a modern facility that offers something for everyone. Visitors explore the world of raptors through interactive displays, multi-media shows, and close-up views of a wide variety of birds of prey. Established in 1970, The Peregrine Fund works nationally and internationally, to conserve birds of prey in nature. We conserve nature by achieving results--results restoring species in jeopardy, conserving habitat, educating students, training conservationists, providing factual information to the public, and by accomplishing good science.
