Venture down the whitewater of the "Birds of Prey" on the Snake River. Experience the 16 miles of Class I-II rapids, this section of the river is known for the numerous birds of prey the soar in the sky above. This section, Swan Falls Dam to Walter's Ferry Bridge, passes through Birds of Prey Natural Area and is located in southwest Idaho, south-west of Boise City, 25 miles from I-84.

Practical Info: Rafting season is open approximately from April to June, with whitewater rafting trips that can be completed in 1 day. The river is suitable for oar rafts.

Useful Tips: Guides are optional, although permits may be required for private trips. Outfitters on the "Birds of Prey" on the Snake River offer trips suitable for families.
