While the region has a few small wineries, Central Florida has one of the leading wineries in the state, the Lakeridge Winery. The Lakeridge Winery produces many varieties of table and sparkling wines from local and hybrid grapes. Their “Southern Red” wine has won many awards, including the gold medal at the Florida State Fair. The Lakeridge Winery offers free tours and wine tasting daily.
