Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales - This “must-see” attraction is home to over 100 types of flowering plants, many kinds of trees and shrubs, lots of squirrels, and over 100 species of birds. Additional draws of this beautiful sanctuary are the tall bell tower and its adjacent reflecting pool, as well as the daily musical concerts held by the tower.
Harry P. Leu Gardens in Orlando - These gardens sit on about 50 acres and feature miles of paved walkways on which to stroll through a large camellia collection and rose garden, among other plant life.

The Florida Botanical Gardens in Largo - Here there are over a half dozen themed gardens, featuring a mix of native and exotic plant life. These botanical gardens are very convenient to visit, as it is adjacent to Heritage Village and the Gulf Coast Museum of Art.
University of South Florida Botanical Gardens in Tampa - These botanical gardens showcase a collection of hundreds of types of plants and flowers, thus emphasizing plant diversity. Butterfly gardens, carnivorous plants, orchids, and herbs are among the flora featured, while the fauna consist of butterflies, tortoises, and over 60 species of birds.
