What's even better than amazing amusement park rides? Petting some stingrays afterward, of course. V2: Vertical Velocity is best ridden before lunch, as it'll launch you from 0-70 m.p.h. in less than five seconds! Another heavy hitter is the Medusa, the tallest and longest coaster in northern California that's over half a mile of twisted track. Enough about the coasters though, this is, after all, Six Flags Marine World, and you can play with bottlenose dolphins, feed southern stingrays, and be amazed with the playful antics of Magellanic penguins. You can also feed giraffes, seals, and sea lions. For the truly adventurous, book ahead and spend a night with the sharks, literally!
