Our Nature Nut Says:

Right in the middle of Redwood country lies Patrick's Point State Park, a wonderland of trees and top-notch shorelines. The Park's forests are rich with red alder, spruce, hemlock and pine and the shorelines have dramatic cliffs which overlook the Pacific, home to whales and sea lions. Aside from amazing natural beauty, Patrick's Point boasts Sumeg Village, accurately recreated and filled with family houses, canoes, and a dance house. Today, local Yuroks use the Village and the native plant garden for educational purposes, sharing and perpetuating their culture. Visitors will also enjoy miles of hiking trails and camping, with family sites available.
