The ground always seems to be shaking in San Francisco and the Bay area but it's probably from all the fans as opposed to underground tremors. Oakland hosts not only the NFL's Raiders and Major League Baseball's Athletics, but also the NBA's Golden State Warriors. Across the bay, San Francisco has the 49ers and the Giants. The Pebble Beach Golf Links, the Poppy Hills Golf Course, and the Spyglass Hill Golf Course play host to the world-famous AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am Tournament held every year in February, where you can watch from the galleries as Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, and other golf greats tee off.
The Central California Coast region also gives visiting sports fans access to horseracing, auto racing, volleyball, and rodeos.
