If you are searching for the Massaponax Factory Outlet Stores, you are a few years too late. The factory outlet center closed and was converted to a business park in 2008. That is rather unfortunate for the residents of the Fredericksburg area. The Massaponax Factory Outlet Center had 30 stores and a movie theater, showing first run films in its prime. The courtyard area was open and was an enjoyable place to hang out in between some shopping.

Visitors to the area looking for a Fredericksburg outlet mall will have to drive about a half hour north, towards Washington, DC on I-95 to Potomac Mills. If you are looking for a larger mall and don't feel like driving all the way to Tyson's Corner, check out the Spotsylvania Mall, also located in Fredericksburg, Virginia off of I-95. If yu are heading to the coast, the best beach in the area is at Colonial Beach about 30 minutes east of Fredericksburg. Massaponax Factory Outlet Center used to be a popular stop driving south on I-95 from DC to Richmond and points south (like Florida). Highway billboards used to direct bargain seekers to Massaponax. Now that it is gone, keep pressing south and we guarantee you will find some other outlet centers along I-95. Likewise if you are heading north.
