Part of Anacostia Park. Kenilworth Park has many sport and recreation areas and is a popular location for picnickers. The amazing aquatic gardens are dedicated to delicate flowering water plants (the Waterlily Festival in July is a hugely popular event for area residents and tourists). Bordering the aquatic garden is the Kenilworth Marsh, a 77-acre freshwater tidal marsh with an impressive boardwalk and scenic river trail.
