Welcome to the Torpedo Factory Art Center. The TFAC is one of the largest and most successful visual arts centers in the U.S. It is located in beautiful Old Town Alexandria just outside of Washington, D.C. on the docks of the Potomac River. A renovated former torpedo factory that was built during World War I, it now consists of three floors of artist studios, galleries, workshops, an art school, and an archaeology museum, all with an elevator for your convenience.
