Need a break from the fast-paced, busy L.A. life? Head just 90 miles east to one of the best escapes in California—Lake Arrowhead Village. Here you can shop at over 30 amazing stores from unique boutiques, to outlets of your favorite and familiar stores. Lake Arrowhead Village also has wonderful family activities, like an amusement park called Village Fun Park, seasonal water skiing lessons, and boat tours of Lake Arrowhead. We also highly recommend the guided tour of beautiful Lake Arrowhead on the legendary Arrowhead Queen Riverboat. When you need a shopping break this tour will be just the right speed where you can relax and prepare for more shopping and fun!
Lake Arrowhead Village is a pet's paradise. Besides for the great outdoors that The Village has to offer, there's also the Just Browsing Pet Boutique and Paws Spa for some special pet services and goods. If you're the one looking for some spa treatments you can get some wonderful pampering at AVEDA Lotus Salon & Spa. Afterwards you can get in a short workout and relax some more at the Lake Arrowhead Pilates Center. There's enough here to keep you busy all day!
When it's time for you to get down to some great shopping, visit BedBugs Linens & Kitchens for some cute items for your home, or revisit some of your favorites like Bass, Geoffrey Beene, Jockey, and Van Huessen. For your convenience there's even a grocery store and a pharmacy located here! If you have your kids with you they'll love Color Me Mine/The Wishing Bear where you can paint pottery or build your own teddy bear together. Afterwards, take the kids over to Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory or Village Ice Cream and Sweet Shop for a sweet treat!
If chocolate wasn't enough to satisfy your hunger, then go for a delicious meal at any of the fine dining choices known for their amazing views of Lake Arrowhead and great customer service. You can try Belgian Waffle Works for breakfast or lunch or try Del Lago's Coffee House & Café where there is a Coffee Bar, Deli, young women's clothing section and also an Internet Café. This café is located on the lake with the best view in The Village. They offer a variety of sandwiches, salads, soups and wraps, great coffee and fantastic frappes, making this place a sure bet! If you've got the kids with you then head over to Lake Arrowhead Deli, Pizza and Family Fun Center.
