Shoot the whitewater rapids of the Sixmile Creek. Challenge the 6 miles of Class V rapids, where the highest level of technical skills and physical fitness is demanded. The pinnacle of rafting experiences. This section, Sixmile Canyon, passes through Chugach National Forest and is located in south-central Alaska, 20 miles south of Anchorage.

Practical Info: Rafting season is open approximately from June to September, with whitewater rafting trips that can be completed in 1 day. The river is suitable for paddle rafts, and oar rafts. Portage may be required.

Useful Tips: A guide may be required, and whitewater experience is recommended.
