Shoot the whitewater rapids of the Kenai River. Challenge the 28 miles of Class I-II+ rapids, an exhilarating adventure for the entire family. This section, Kenai Canyon, passes through Kenai National Wildlife Refuge and is located in south-central Alaska, Cooper Landing, on Route 1 -Sterling Hwy.

Practical Info: Rafting season is open approximately from May to September, with whitewater rafting trips that can be completed in 1 day. Popular trips include the 11 mile section from near Kenai Lake to Jim Landing, and the 17 mile section from near Kenai lake to Skilak Lake. The river is suitable for paddle rafts, and oar rafts.
