Our Nature Nut Says:

This beautiful, remote, and very dynamic nature preserve is home to Harding Ice Field, stunning mountain and glacial scenery, and more snow than you could ever dream of. Exit Glacier, the most accessible section of the park, has excellent easy trails along the glacier's base. A boat tour or kayak trip through the coastal area will allow awesome views of the park's marine life (Northern sea lions, puffins, whales, and much more) and the unique coastal landscape. The less accessible Harding Ice Field is probably best experienced by a plane tour, although skilled hikers can travel the strenuous, but incredible Icefield Trail, an eight-mile trail traversing forests, meadows, peaks, and bears. Snowmobiling, dog sledding, and even ice climbing are a few of the immensely exciting ways to experience the park in the winter.

From Kenai Fjords National Park - Alaska:

Visitors witness a landscape continuously shaped by glaciers, earthquakes, and storms. Orcas, otters, puffins, bear, moose and mountain goats are just a few of the numerous animals that make their home in this ever-changing place where mountains, ice and ocean meet.
