Our Nature Nut Says:

Chilkat State Park is a wealth of Alaskan natural beauty both on land and water. Those who prefer land-based activity will enjoy the three park trails here, including Seduction Pint, Battery Point, and Mt. Riley. The park is also fantastic for wildlife watching, with visitors often catching glimpses of seals, porpoises, and whales in the inlet, and occasionally bears and goats. The Park's Visitors center is based in a log cabin, where guests can take in fabulous views of nearby glaciers. And to top it off, the campground here has 32 sites, amidst a mixed forest of evergreens and deciduous trees at the edge of the inlet, a ticket for a fun-filled stay at Chikat State Park.
