Glacier Gardens Rainforest Adventure
While there is no shortage of natural beauty in the Alaska Panhandle, and in Juneau, in particular, one good way to get it all in is at the Glacier Gardens Rainforest Adventure. Its got most of what you would expect in a botanical garden with the added bonus of great views. Some of the best viewpoints of the Mendenhall Valley are from here. Walk among the ponds, waterfalls and native forests for an experience that's just not available in many other places in the United States.
