Winterport Winery The Winterport Winery opened its doors in the fall of 2001, but interestingly got its start 30 years earlier when a home wine-making kit was given to the proprietors as a Christmas gift. The hobby eventually turned into full-time work and a family-run business. The winery now occupies a 3,200-square-foot work area and 1,100-square-foot tasting room.
