There's always fun when you combine myth, magic, and the Blake Island State Park. Blake's Tillicum Village provides about four hours worth of exploration and adventure through Native American culture. Cool Things to Do in Seattle

In the Seattle metropolitan area, the Spirit of Washington Dinner Train departs from Renton and runs along the edge of Lake Washington. It continues over the Wilburton Trestle, eventually arriving in the town of Woodinville, northeast of Renton. Various sites that can be seen while on the dinner train include the Columbia Winery in Woodinville, as well as only island in the middle of Lake Washington, Mercer Island. The train journey takes about three hours and 15 minutes and provides a cool way to explore the area!

Has the winery piqued your interest? The foothills of the rolling Cascades provide the launch spot for the Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery. A tour of this spectacular area will include exquisite wine tastings as well as walks through flower- and horse-filled pastures. Not too far from the wineries are other points of interest like Lake Union, Snoqualmie Falls, The Arboretum, and the Swiss Chocolate Factory.

Fun Things to Do in Tacoma

Downtown Tacoma is a fun way to take in all of what Tacoma has to offer, urban-wise. From nearly anywhere you find yourself you'll have a gorgeous view of the Puget Sound, you can catch a concert Tacoma's large wooden Dome Station, eat in trendy restaurants, visit museums, and get on and off the LINK, Tacoma's convenient (and free!) light rail. Tacoma's North End neighborhood provides more boutique-y shops and a Summer Arts Festival that you won't want to miss.

In a state that prides itself on outdoor adventure, beauty, and grandeur, you'll have no trouble finding something fun to do in Washington State. Go rafting in the Tieton River, hike Mount Reiner, or visit continental America's northernmost point at Cape Flattery.

A trip to Washington State would be incomplete without a trip to horseshoe-shaped Orcas Island, filed with lakes, mountains, fjords, and, that's right…orcas.
